Game Recap

The Knights opened the 2017-18 season at Bryan Field this past Saturday, against the Van Horn Falcons. By halftime, the Knights found themselves down by a score of 26-6, primarily due to turnovers and undisciplined play. However, coming out of halftime, the Knights found some momentum, sparked by Junior Wideout Doedy Deh-Patterson. The Knights were able to close the gap to 20-26 when the injury bug hit and hit hard. The Knights, playing without their top 3 quarterbacks, could not get their offense back on track. The Knights’ defense was able to adequately hold ground, but a total of 7 turnovers by the Knights proved too much to overcome.

The Knights look to bounce back against a Helias Crusaders squad who are also coming off a loss at the hands of Hannibal, 41-28. The game will be held at Bryant Stadium on Saturday, 08/26/2017, at 4:00 pm.
